The greatest evidence of trust is a praying soul. When someone really trusts God, they begin to pray and depend upon Him deeply. At Living Hope, we begin everything in prayer. Every ministry, every decision, every difficulty, every need, everything imaginable. Prayer is the heart and soul of our fellowship, and so every Sunday morning, we gather in the Commons, humbling ourselves by praying.
Each week we take on a topic we believe God is leading us to pray about, and let the Holy Spirit guide us through twenty minutes of seeking Him. We encourage everyone in our fellowship to come out at least one Sunday a month and give voice to their trust and intercession to their burdens.
On the first Sunday evening of every month at 6 pm, we gather for an all church prayer time in which we allow God to infuse us with fresh boldness and lead us to pray the burden of Christ’s heart. Corrie Ten Boom once said, “Prayer is either your steering wheel or your spare tire.” Let prayer and, through prayer, Christ be the driver of your life and this fellowship. Come and pray.
