What to Expect:
1. What should I expect when I come?
Expect an awesome worship service.
Expect an encouraging, dynamic and relevant message.
Expect to see people of all ages, cultures, and styles.
Expect to be touched by Jesus.
Expect a Jesus community.
2. Where do I take my children?
Upon arrival, you’ll see signage directing you to the Hope Kids check-in area, or you can ask one of the volunteers serving that Sunday at the entrance doors or the information counter located directly beside the entrance doors. At the check-in area, you’ll be greeted by a volunteer or staff member who will help you register your children on our church software. You’ll be handed a sticker with your child’s name and what class they will be in, and a replica of the same sticker will then be placed somewhere on your child’s person.
Security is important to us and we have recently installed security cameras in all the classrooms as well as the halls. Further, we make sure the name of your child and your child’s sticker match before admitting or dismissing them to or from class. After admitting your child to class, you can grab a cup of coffee or tea from our coffee café and head into worship. Your child will do some activities initially, then gather with all our kids to sing songs to Jesus, and then work through the lessons written in-house based upon the award-winning Jesus Story Book Bible. After the service is over, we encourage parents to pick up their kids from class.
3. Is there anything for my Junior Highers?
Totally! We have g2 held in the Skylight Room at 11am for all 4th-6th graders where pre-teens can come together and interact, play the Wii, win cool prizes, listen to entertaining speakers, and learn more about Jesus together. Also, for all junior high students, there is Breakfast Church located in the Facility at 11am where worship is explained, teaching is fundamental, and connection is vital. The best part? Your kids can learn all this while eating breakfast provided for them by our volunteer staff and hanging out with leaders who love them and love Jesus. What could be better than all this along with some blueberry pancakes?
4. Where should I park?
We have parking located at the entrance of the church, as well as another parking lot located directly to the east side of the church. There are plenty of spaces to go around.
5. Do I need to know the words to all the worship songs?
Nope, we have all the lyrics displayed on a large screen that correspond to the lyrics of the song being played. Here at Living Hope, we love to sing, and we sing loud, so there’s no need to worry about whether or not someone’s going to hear your, maybe not so pretty, singing voice.
6. What should I wear?
At Living Hope, there are people who dress up for church and there are others who come dressed relaxed. There is no dress code here at Living Hope. We want you to be comfortable in what you are wearing. We do encourage modesty but also encourage everyone to come in his or her own style.
7. Are there any refreshments?
Yes, there is a coffee café located near the entrance that has plenty of coffee and tea, and if it is your first time at Living Hope, we would love to bless you with a free coffee of your choice.
If you’ve never been to church or it’s been a while, Living Hope has something to offer you.
Our hope is that you feel encouraged to take this next step into this community.
Visit us this next weekend and experience Living Hope for yourself.
