SLOW YOUR SOUL
Rest Is Elusive.
Summer slips by swiftly. We often start with grand plans only to end up wondering where the summer went.
What if we approached this summer differently? What if we found the moments, the hours, the days of Sabbath that are waiting for us these coming months? What if we learned God’s YES’S and wise NO’S so deeply that rest no longer eludes us?
Whatever stage or season of life, time is precious, fleeting, and fragile. Whether you are first-time parents, newlyweds, college graduates, empty nesters, or married in the middle of life—do you hear the invitation to come and find rest for your weary souls?
Here is our premise:
Slow for summer
through living a
Sabbath summer.
How do we slow?
• Schedule our week to include an intentional day of Sabbath rest.
• Slow our hustle (doing and driving) to embrace the rest of a Sabbath summer even beyond the Sabbath day.
• Savor our summer through embodied experiences to be present with God, family, and friends.
Each Service in the Grove we will take on a different component of Slow Your Summer:
July 6th - Slow Your Summer
August 3rd - Slow Your Soul
August 31st - Slow Your Start
