NELSON & ELBA FLORES


Nelson and Elba Flores have a deep passion for helping couples build strong, Christ-centered marriages that last. Married with two children and one grandchild, family is one of their greatest joys and a foundation of their ministry.

They have been part of Living Hope Fellowship for over 12 years and have been faithfully walking alongside couples in their marriage journeys since 2003. Nelson holds a Master’s degree from Multnomah University and is currently completing his internship toward licensure.

Together, Nelson and Elba are dedicated to encouraging and equipping couples to grow in unity, strengthen their relationship, and keep Christ at the center of their marriage.

Pre-Marital Counseling

Marriage is one of God's greatest gifts, and preparing for it with wisdom is one of the greatest acts of love you can offer each other. Our Premarital Christian Mentoring program is designed to help couples begin their marriage with clarity, confidence, and Christ at the center. Using the SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment, we walk alongside engaged and pre-engaged couples as they discover God's design for their relationship and build a foundation that lasts

Marriage Mentoring

A strong marriage doesn't happen by accident-it's built with intention. mentoring gives couples a safe, grace-filled space to explore deeper layers of their relationship, guided by Scripture and supported by mentors who have walked the journey themselves. Research shows that couples who invest in their marriage build stronger, healthier marriages, and Christian mentoring adds the spiritual grounding that helps love endure through every season.

Marriage Groups

This group is gathering around You and Me Forever to explore what it means to build stronger marriages—on a foundation that is centered on Christ rather than culture. The book challenges readers to shift their focus from temporary concerns to an eternal perspective, and this group aims to walk through that shift together. The goal is not simply to improve relationships, but to deepen discipleship, strengthen faith, and learn how love grows when it is rooted in God's mission
